I wasn't so happy when I woke up. Though there never was an actual cat, the feeling I had for it were very real. It's one of those trick our brain plays on us from time to time. Though are dreams and nightmares are just some weird montage of our memories and experiences, the feelings with get from them aren't as made up.
To this day, I'm still pissed I never had that cat.
Anyway, considering that my girlfriend has asthma and cat allergies, I doubt I'll ever have one.
I'll just have to settle for having a dog with whool-like hair, like my stepmother's:

Which is just as cute. So.. .well... if I can't have a cat... this is probably the next best thing....
Until that day though, I'll probably buy myself a new betta fish...
