I spent most of the day yesterday building a computer from the parts I bought online. It was the first time for me, and I have to admit I was a bit scared of frying something or make the whole thing explode by not plugging it right.
Well, aside from a messy cabling inside (I don't think there's an un-messy when to do cabling inside computers anyway), the thing seems to work fine.
So the beast seems to be working perfectly. All my peripherals are fine, I've got a fancy graphics card so I'll be able to throw some hard 3d shit at it (like the upcoming Spore game!). All I need now is a fancy webcam, so my girlfriend and I will be able to communicate and see each other as much as possible during the year.
I'll blog in a while about the whole fun of moving and getting a job far far away in the forest.

Good to hear it's working! You're welcome. ;)
Oh yeah. Thanks for all the advice.
Félicitations. Justin m'a déjà dit que c'est ce que tu devrais faire, acheter les parts et monter l'ordi toi-même, plutôt que de l'acheter tout fait à fort prix.
